And in the past week, I saw these two posts in a Catholic group.
Really? Really, though?!!!
And we call ourselves Catholics??!!
What kind of Catholic are you when you lack basic human compassion and empathy?!
And we wonder why there’s an increase in Google searches for “traditional Catholic narcissists” and “catholic hypocrisy”
You know what the Bible says about those who cause the little ones (referring to children, the oppressed, the vulnerable, the downtrodden etc) to stumble…….those that scandalise the faith?
It says it would be better that such a person has a millstone hung around their neck and they are sunk to the bottom of the sea than for them to face God’s judgement.
We live in perilous times. Wolves in Sheep clothing posing as “Catholics” walk among us, and we must be very discerning of the Catholic brands, pages and groups we follow.
At the end of the day, watch to see if these “Catholics” practise what they preach.
Are they bearing fruit? Or do they simply offer lip service?
Do their words match their actions?
If they claim to be pro-life, but are only pro-life until birth and they do not care for said babies when they grow into teenagers or adults, or if they are black, they are not pro-life – THEY ARE HYPOCRITES AND FRAUDS.

Simply put, you cannot be Catholic and devoid of BASIC HUMAN COMPASSION & EMPATHY!
A Catholic who professes the faith, but displays little to no compassion or empathy is not Catholic.
They are a wolf in sheep clothing, a hypocrite and a fraud.
What about those Catholics who are anti-semitic?

If you are a Catholic with neo-Nazi fantasies, guess what?
You are not a Catholic – you are a hypocrite and a fraud!
If you harbour any racist leanings WHATSOEVER – you are not Catholic – you are a hypocrite and a fraud.
If you believe that being baptised Catholic years or months ago gives you an automatic pass into Heaven, regardless of your actions or state of grace – boy, are you going to get disappointed!!
And you may think your day of reckoning is far off in the future. That is what you’d like to think.
Because in times like these, between dealing with an unseen and deadly disease and eruptions of societal revolts and uprisings, any of us could be called home by God at any time.
Are you ready for the words
“Depart from Me, I know you not!”?
“But Lord, I veiled, and went to Mass, and sang all the chants and baked bread”
“DEPART FROM ME – I KNOW YOU NOT!”
Not only will you be judged for the sins you commit, but you will receive EXTRA judgement for the souls of the people that you have caused to stumble due to your lack of empathy, charity and compassion.
To whom much is given, much is expected.
You’d better go to Confession ASAP, stay in a state of grace, be charitable and compassionate to your neighbour – YES, even that neighbour who looks different to you or who has a different skin colour to you.
So if you claim to be Catholic, ask yourself if you are a fruit-bearing tree…..or are you are a hypocrite and a fraud, that will be cursed by God.
I am not a convert. I was born into a three-generation Catholic family; my husband, a four-generation catholic family and I do not recognise the so-called Catholics I see today.
Many of the Catholics of today are totally different to the Catholics I remember from my childhood.
The faith, Catholicism and the Church is ageless, so there’s something seriously wrong if your brand of “Catholicism” is different to the faith handed down to us by the Church Fathers.
If you ever in doubt on how to behave or what to do in any given situation, don’t look to me, to any Catholic public figure or even to any of the saints as a guide.
Simply ask yourself: “What would Our Lady do?”
And then act accordingly.
To my dear non-Catholics, hopeful converts and newbie Catholics, please do not be disheartened by the hypocrites and frauds that are within the Catholic community.
People like me who are compassionate and empathetic are not a complete rarity.
Seek us out.
If you find ANY “Catholic” group, page, brand, or even parish that claims to be Catholic and they display any of the despicable behaviours mentioned above, or their fruits do not match their words, LEAVE IMMEDIATELY!
Unfollow their groups or pages; do not attend their parishes.
Do not give them any more of your time, attention, or money.
They are not truly Catholics – THEY ARE HYPOCRITES AND FRAUDS – and they do not speak for or represent the rest of us, the true Body of Christ.
Find the TRUE CATHOLICS – we do exist, trust me.
Remember: by their fruits, ye shall know them!
May the Holy Spirit and Our Lady guide safely to your true Catholic home, whether it is a brand, a community or a parish.
Our Lady, Seat of Wisdom, pray for us!!

Hi, I agree with everything except the post about Kyle Rittenhouse, I saw the video and it looked like he shot that guy in self defense, I think it’s a little extreme to call him a murderer, though I agree that while looking into people’s histories can explain some things, it doesn’t mean they deserved to die. Otherwise we all deserve to die because we’re sinners. We definitely should be more compassionate and not fall to pride thinking we’re better than others… boy is it tricky, Thank God for the Rosary and brown scapular, and even then it’s still hard being a true Catholic.

I agree with most of what you said (I have no time for so-called Catholics who aren’t interested in ending racism) but I have found your messaging so confusing over the past few months.
You have insisted that covid is so dangerous and deadly that even young, healthy people shouldn’t go out, opting for livestream Mass rather than dare cross our front porches. Now we are blamed for not approaching someone crying after Mass? You are part of the side calling for all social interactions to cease indefinitely. We can’t have it both ways.

In a way, I can understand why you are so confused as you seem to have made up realities and scenarios in your head, and are believing your own…..um…..delusions.
I have never ever said that Covid is dangerous & deadly that young healthy people shouldn’t go out.
Right there, you have twisted my words and blatantly lied – a sin, btw.
My advice on Covid19 was perfectly in line with government and health regulations when the pandemic started and we all went into lockdown, with no other option to attend Mass except online.
So it’s not like I said “right. Even though everyone is going to mass at church, you mustn’t – you just attend mass online”
Perhaps not lying will ease your confusion?
I find it bizarre that though this article covers a vast topic on racism, pro life issues and so on, you are so unifocal & narrow minded that you focus on a singular incident.
Are you really that dense?
With regards to not displaying charity for someone crying you see at Mass?
In what part of your deluded confused mind did you ever think that??
If you are able or allowed to attend mass in person, what stops you from offering charity to someone crying……even a socially distanced talk with them?

It seems you are so angry at the pandemic that you take it out on innocent people when you finally are able to come out of London.

However, I appreciate your comment as you have perfectly displayed the points I have made in this article and you have demonstrated the character of a typical Catholic fraud – a person with no ounce of sympathy, charity or reason on their heart, but one who seethes in hypocrisy, malice and spite.
Here is my recommendation to ease your “confusion”
Go to confession. Pray for forgiveness for your lack of charity & ask a God to pardon your maliciousness and spiteful ness.
Spend time in adoration and prayer.
Pray the Rosary daily
Read the Bible daily.
Attend Daily Mass 3ce a week minimum
Do all this for 6 weeks.
Your confusion should be alleviated.

Abusers wear many masks. “Trad Catholic” is simply yet another mask they wear to get victims. They are not true catholic.
I feel sad that there are very few Catholic pages who talk about abuse and narcissism.
It is an epidemic that destroys families, ends marriages & decimates children.
One would think that the prevention of these issues would be at the forefront of those who claim to be pro life or pro family. 😕
We can’t expect to have healthy, happy & holy families & marriages if we don’t encourage or guide people in choosing the right partner in the first place 😕

I am now going through narcissistic abuse recovery therapy with Michele lee Nieves wchich I found via your website. I have complex ptsd as a result of being raised in divorced home by narcissistic mother and her brother. I could not believe when I was educating myself about narcissism how it resonated with what I experienced. Finally all made sense.
I do not wish anyone to go through hell which I have experienced. I have encontered lots of people who used the Faith to abuse and when I objected I was shamed using religion called “not Christ like”, “not wanting to suffer”, “not charitable”, “spoiled, entitled princess”, “not loving God”. Currently, on my therapy there is lots of women with similar experiences who were, for example bullied into forgiveness, some of them ending up leaving religion and becoming atheists. I have left the Church myself at 16 because I couldnt handle bullying. God has pulled me back but it has been extremely hard. Really people can go to Mass/say the rosary and be absolute monsters within.

Thank you for speaking the truth! It’s been so disheartening to see so many people claiming to be “Catholic” not caring about brothers and sisters of another race, and even dismissing their pain and suffering, or trying to find ways to validate the sufferings hoisted upon them. God is not pleased with that behavior.
