Welcome to the blog page for Traditional Catholic Femininity. ย As some of you may be aware, I have had a traditional catholic blog for the past 3.5 years.
However, in recent months, I started getting the urge to create a new blog dedicated and focused on supporting and inspiring Catholic women and young Catholic girls in their vocations.
With the persistent decline and disintegration of popular culture, now is the time more than ever for us to be beacons of light in this dark world, to be counter-cultural by embracing old-fashioned values and Marian virtues once again. ย We do not want a watered-down version of our faith as clearly that has gotten us nowhere and in fact has made things much worse!
We cannot be salt and light of the world if we are exactly the same as the world. ย We are called to be set apart….treasured….His!
Not all of us has the opportunity to be worldwide missionaries or to enter religious life.
Still, regardless of our station in life, we are called to be saints, to strive for holiness in our daily lives and to shine that the world might see Our Lord through us.
As Catholics, we are lucky to have the Blessed Virgin Mary as a model for us, the very embodiment of virtue.
As the 100th year anniversary of Our Lady of Fatima drew closer, the urge for me to create this blog grew stronger and stronger. ย What better time than now to begin this new chapter in our lives……in the month of May (which is dedicated to the Virgin Mary) and in the month of Our ย Lady of Fatima’s 100th year anniversary.
So I made the announcement of the launch of this blog yesterday on my social media networks and I have been both amazed and humbled at the outpouring of enthusiasm and support for this venture. ย This is confirmation for me that a blog such as this is needed in these times.
I am very much looking forward to learning and sharing with you all.
