I realise that I have a number of male readers who read and follow this blog.

Encouraged by my articles advocating a return to traditional femininity, they also wish to know how they can restore their own masculinity.

My blog’s core focus is on the female demographic and it will remain that way.

The topic of masculinity is just as controversial as the topic of femininity.

A lot of men today who have grown up with no discernible masculine role models, thanks to the breakdown of the family unit and continued emasculation of men by feminism, have a warped and comical perception of what they believe is real masculinity.

I recently came across an article that echoes my sentiments on neo-masculinity.

True masculinity is not craft beers, well-placed tattoos, tobacco pipes, fedoras, beards and beard balms, and all the entrapment of a by-gone era.

This is not to say that these things are necessarily bad.

The main point of this article is to express the sentiment that true masculinity is not just about outward appearances, but more importantly about character.

In fact, neomasculinity’s hyper-focus on outward appearances and physical traits of masculinity is in itself a form of effeminacy because it is a feminine nature to be focused on one’s appearance.  Women are created with the natural desire and disposition to look good and to be focused on their appearance.

As Fr Ripperger said, a man overly focused on his outward appearance with no character or sound masculine traits is a man that is soft, a man that is effeminate.

This neo-masculinity culture is populated by nu-male eunuchs, persistently signalling just how manly and Alpha they really are.

No, dude, just no! None of the above is Alpha or even traditional masculinity, so please STAHP IT NOW!

Being an Alpha male is about being the pinnacle of true, traditional masculinity, which is being a husband and father, protecting and providing for your family.

True masculinity entails the following traits: to protect, to provide, to sacrifice, to lead.

These are the directives given to Adam by God, and thus these are defining traits of what it means to be a REAL MAN, in the true, traditional, original and Biblical sense.  Anything else is just pure ridiculousness.  You just can’t counterfeit God’s template.  The original is always better than the copy.
